Built for the floor, not the office
Flexhand was founded because two problems kept appearing on every Swiss production site: manufacturers couldn't find qualified operators fast enough, and operators felt invisible and replaceable. We set out to solve both.
The problem we saw
Swiss pharmaceutical and chemical production depends on a relatively small pool of certified, experienced operators — people who know GMP, can handle ADR, and have the compliance awareness that floor work demands.
On one side: manufacturers losing production days to sick cover, struggling to find qualified workers for night and weekend shifts, drowning in certificate checks every time they onboard someone.
On the other side: operators with decades of experience, certs in every category — and no way to show it. Each employer starts the vetting from scratch. Off-hours shifts get negotiated awkwardly. The track record stays invisible.
Flexhand bridges that gap: a shared, pre-vetted operator pool with verified profiles, a premium-shift marketplace, and a gamified track record system that makes ten years of production experience visible for the first time.
